When traveling and hungry, try a place you've never been instead of the same go to fast food joints. We decided to stop in Laurel, MS at a place called Vic's. When you see cars in a seemingly never ending line at the drive through and a pretty full parking lot, the food must be good. Well we were right. The place was packed and the order and serving line never ended. They have a menu board for sandwiches, etc. But the Blue Plate special is an excellent choice for some really good home style cooking. A pretty good selection on the serving line but you can't go wrong with the fried chicken and sides of your choice and desert. Portions are more than enough. My wife and I ate for $23.52 and asked for a to-go box. Overall it was a really good find.
